PEGADEMASE - INJECTION

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Adagen
USES: This medication is an enzyme this is given to persons who lack it. It is used to improve the immune sytsem.
HOW TO USE: This medication is given by injection into a muscle usually evrey 7 days. It is important that this medication be used as scheduled to maintain the proper enzmye level. Blood tests will be done frequently to monitor your response to the medication and your doisng schedule will be adjusted accordingly. Symptoms should improve gradually in a few weeks to months.
SIDE EFFECTS: Notify your doctor if the following effcets occur: headache, pain at the injection Internet site.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions, such as: blood disorders, bone marrow disease, illnesses, any allergeis.
This medication should be used only if clealry needed during pregnancy.
Discuss the rsiks and benefits with your doctor.
It is not known if this medication appears in braest milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Some medications may interact with Pegademase and possibly alter test results.
Tell your doctor about all over- the-counter and prescription medication you use, especially: vidarabine. Do not start or stop any mediicne without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cenetr or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Do not share this product with ohters.
MISSED DOSE: Do not double dose if msised.
Resume regular scehdule as soon as possible.
STORAGE: Store this medication in the refrigerator. Do not freeze it or keep it at room temperature.
